Established in 1873 the original shop was in Lynn Street ownerd by Mathew Lamb. Matthew Lamb died during World War II leaving Harry Lamb as the new owner. Harry Lamb handed over the shop to his former manager John Davey, who continues to run the shop as an independent family business.
